About 30 kilometers from Kaunas is located Rumšiškės - an extensive ethnographic open-air museum, which reveals all the natural beauty of the Lithuanian region. It is here that in its entirety you can feel the spirit of Lithuania, plunge into the atmosphere of the past and hear the story about Lithuania of the 18-20 centuries. On 174 hectares of the museum there are almost 2 hundreds of buildings brought from different regions of the country, while the age of some structures exceeds 200 years. Against the backdrop of natural landscapes, huts, farm buildings, mills, chapels, a farm and front gardens are located. Along all this splendor, a ring hiking trail with a length of about 6 kilometers was laid. The central place in the park is occupied by the area lined with cobblestones, where the atmosphere of the old county is recreated. Here in the old tavern you can taste dishes of national cuisine,
